Tour-operator rate intelligence — what every operator charges for your hotel night by night, how you sit against the competitor set, and what moved since yesterday.
RateScope is a rate intelligence module for hotels that sell through tour operators. A hotel sells the same room through several operators into several markets, and each of them prices it differently, day by day, as the stay date approaches. RateScope puts that on one screen: what Anex, Coral, Sunmar and the rest are charging for each night, in each market, from each departure point, for each room type and board. Prices are shown per person per night, derived from the operator's package price under your own assumptions — whether the flight share comes out, what a flight and a transfer cost per person, what commission the operator takes, and whether the result is divided across the nights. Those assumptions belong to the workspace, so everybody in it is reading the same number, and the arithmetic is shown beside the figure so anybody can check it. Hotel comparison sets your rate against the competitor set on the cheapest offer of each night, whichever operator sells it — and names that operator, because knowing you are being undercut is half an answer. Rates are collected once a day and kept, which is what makes the rest possible: what a stay's price was when we first saw it, what the highest reading in thirty days was, which prices moved since last week and by how much. The provider reports today's price; the history is Trusapien's. Read-only: agencies, hotels and markets are managed in the provider's own product.
